Raphe basks in the sun of Old San Jaun

Finally!

You made it to my website, that is so brave! In a world full of links in bio, thank you so much for choosing this one. Raphe Gilliam is an actor, singer and dancer based in NYC! He loves, ultimately, to do a little song and dance, and to write sentences that you never expected? to encounter!

Recent

September 2025: The Wonderful Wizard of… Autin! Raphe starred as Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz at ZACH Theater. BroadwayWorld Austin’s Sabrina Wallace writes,

“Dorothy’s companions are cast with uncanny precision, blurring the line between actor and archetype. Their physicality, from every slouch to every creak or roar, feels so real it erases the boundary between human and character. Raphe Gilliam’s Scarecrow is loose-limbed and rubbery, folding himself into impossible shapes and creating the illusion of straw barely holding together.”

May 2025: Yeehaw! Raphe and the cast of Casa Mañana’s CATS brought a Texas flair to the iconic musical. The production featured Jackie Burns as Grizabella, and Raphe reprised the role of Munkustrap.
